Picnik and Glogster
After learning about Picnik and Glogster, my eyes were opened to new ways of using technology in the classroom that I hadn't previously thought about. I can see how Glogster may apply to my classroom, but I feel like it can be a little distracting from what the point of the "poster" may be with all of the different backgrounds. I think it could be used if applied to the right assignment, but I feel like a lot of class time might be wasted messing around with all the different graphics. I also wasn't able to do much on Glogster because of the Adobe flash message that kept popping up. As for picnik, I could see this being useful in a history classroom. If students were taking pictures for a project and sharing them with each other, picnik would be a good tool. I liked the editing feature as well.
