I’m from Nashville, Tennessee where I went to Harpeth Hall, an all girls high school. I want to be a teacher because in high school, I had a few extremely passionate and inspiring teachers who constantly pushed their students to think outside the box. Their classes were fun and made me actually want to be in school learning. Because my teachers in high school inspired a love of learning in me, I hope to inspire students to also find a love of learning. I want to teach high school history or political science. I work thirty hours a week, so that takes up most of my time outside of school, but in my free time I love any activity involving the outdoors. I love all sports (except basketball because I’m terrible), especially dance. I have been a ballerina since I was young. I love climbing, swimming, and playing with my dog outside. As far as computers go, I don’t really spend much time with them because I don’t have much down time and my internet at my apartment hasn’t worked in 6 months. But, I do enjoy technology and like to learn new things about it.
